I completely forgot that November has 30 days not 31. So that means tomorrow is DECEMBER!!! How fast the year flew by. The point of this post, is to  tell you guys to try your best to take your time and enjoy every single moment of your life! Life will go by quick, and the most important thing you can do is ENJOY IT! Do things you LOVE, be with people you LOVE and chase your DREAMS!

I know life is hectic and its so easy to forget that importance of FAMILY/LOVED ONES bonding. YOU do have TIME to spend with the ones you care for, even if its not for a  long time. By spending time with the one you love you will gain energy and power to face the real world.

HAPPY DECEMBER (Christmas is just 25 days away.)

Lets Talk Tea: Oolong Tea and Yogi Skin Detox

I love tea, especially during winter time. Few months ago, I did a mini-research on the best teas for my body. Makes sense right? Since I drink it daily, why not drink tea that is actually very good for your body! Two teas that had the best and most benefits in Oolong Tea and Yogi Skin Detox Tea.

Oolong Tea:
  •  The Chinese have long believed that oolong tea is beneficial in reducing and maintaining weight. A Chinese study, in 1998, of 102 females showed that continuous consumption of oolong tea for six weeks resulted in a reduction of body weight. This study, along with the question of other compounds contributing to tea's weight loss benefits, spurred further research.
  • According to scientific experiments, patients diagnosed with eczema skin disorder can benefit from drinking 3 cups of oolong tea 3 times in a day.
  •   In a detailed study conducted at the Osaka Institute for Health Care Science, in Japan, the experimental mice that were ingested with oolong tea showed a remarkable improvement in stress levels by more than 10 to 18 %. The natural polyphenols in the oolong tea is said to be the main stress buster.
Yogi Skin Detox Tea:
  • Here's to a Healthy Glow! Our skin reflects our diet and lifestyle choices: it’s the mirror to internal health. It’s just as essential to cleanse from the inside; reducing internal impurities can help to promote clearer, glowing skin. Yogi Skin DeTox was purposefully formulated to support a healthy skin care regimen.
  •  Fragrant Rose Petal and Hibiscus, used in Ayurveda to cool and soothe the skin, entice the senses with a fresh, floral scent. We then add Organic Green Tea that supplies antioxidants to promote a sense of rejuvenation while Burdock and Yellow Dock-traditionally used to support the liver-combine with Red Clover to promote cleansing. Enjoy lightly sweet and floral Skin DeTox throughout the day to support your healthy glow

I got both of the teas at Whole Foods, you can check your local super market, they might have it as well under different brand.

Gift Ideas,

CHRISTMAS 2012 WISH LIST....

8:00 AM Katherine H 0 Comments

Christmas as of today is 29 days away! This brings me to tell you that......
ALL I WANT FOR CHRITMAS IS GIFT CARD!!!

I love giving, I usually hit on the nail when I give gifts to others. Sometimes I get what I want or need, other times (let me be honest) I recycle it. In most cases I give it away to others or donate it. For the past few years I have been telling people to get me gift cards to my favorite stores, it works wonders for me. I get what I want and both the giver me ME the taker are happy!

If you are struggling with gift giving, find out what store that person most shops in (even if it's Walmart, who would not want a FREE $$$ to spend at Walmart or Tar-jey?) I most sure would.

Tomorrow, I am placing two orders for mom and dad online. Two things I know they will use

MOM- SIGMA BRUSH SET ROLL (She been wanting a good brush set, I wanted to get her MAC brush collection, but boy is it expensive!!!)
DAD-UNDERWATER CAMERA (Boyyy, he will be super happy. He is a picture taking freak like me)

Since I got older my Christmas Gift List shortened, since I am not close to many people I was close before and I can now put more thought and $$$ into the gifts that I will give the ones that are close to me.

Keylana,

Fall Is Almost OVER

6:09 PM Katherine H 1 Comments

I love fall, for all its colors and the cool weather that it brings. I love going outside and snapping pictures, below you will see the two favorite monkey faces in a world. Its hard taking pictures of the dogs since they dodnt sit still for a second. This is a great practice for me (for other starting photographers) working with different manual settings to get that amazing shot!

Working on it.....Changing&Fixing

11:48 PM Katherine H 0 Comments

I hope all of you have a great THANKSGIVING! I was over my dads sisters house, and we had a nice peaceful lunch/dinner (3PM). I was able to take my dogs with me, I was sooooo HAPPY (since I haven't seen Keyla for a week. She has been staying at my moms, because I don't like the air quality after Storm Sandy).

I miss blogging, so I needed something to boost my wanting-ness to post more. Soooo, I re did the whole blog layout. By myself (Blogger help), and I am pleased thus far. I though the other layoung was too busy, I want something clean and simple.

I am super excited for the upcoming Holidays. I just love this time of the year!!!

Anyway, below some pictures from my THANKSGIVING....
